Aleuro Inc, Marketing & Sales Firm in San Antonio

What it takes to run a small business for 5 years!

5 years that Aleuro Inc has been in business. Wow!

Thanks to LinkedIn, we were reminded of our upcoming company anniversary and are so unbelievably proud to say not only has our company hit this major milestone, but is thriving and growing in a way that makes us look forward to the 10th anniversary!

You’re probably wondering where these last few years went and that’s a really good question.  Let’s take a look at what exactly Aleuro Inc did to guarantee they hit this 5 year mark!

It is commonly know that 45-50% of small businesses will fail in the first 5 years.  “About half of all new establishments survive five years or more and about one-third survive 10 years or more. As one would expect, the probability of survival increases with a firm’s age.” – Source: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, BED

One of the first things Aleuro Inc attributes their success to, is that they don’t believe in statistics (especially dismal ones like this one above) and they don’t believe that what was done yesterday matters.  There is only today and what is being done TODAY to be the best version of oneself is what will determine success.  Aleuro Inc had their best year yet in 2012 and it was epic – promotions, travel, hitting records for their client, etc. Imagine if all they did in 2013 was reminisce on what was done the year before.  Think they would have made it to 2014, 2015 or be planning for their biggest year yet, 2016?  The answer is no. Because all that matters for tomorrow is what you’re doing today, not yesterday.

A second notion Aleuro Inc feels has brought them to their 5 year anniversary is that they focus on the big rocks first and fill the rest of their time with the small rocks.  No matter one’s model, every small business is usually responsible to 2 parties; their employees and their customers/shareholders.  Aleuro Inc learned from a very young business age, that nothing else is more important than providing a positive, vibrant and educational work environment for their team, who in turn translate that good energy when taking care of customers. It’s actually really simple, they feel. Take care of your people and they will take care of your business.

Thirdly, Aleuro Inc focuses on self-improvement.  Their management team always want to be better versions of themselves. They want to be better citizens to their community, parents, husbands, wives, business leaders in San Antonio. Everyday they read self-help business books, watch motivational videos, divulge in business articles, network on Linkedin, and travel to conferences internationally to network with the best in the marketing and sales industry.  The business our company is built off of is the idea that small improvements over an extended period of time, create strong managers. “Be the change you wish to see in the world,” as the quote goes.

Fourthly, Aleuro Inc believes.  They truly believe that they represent the best telecommunication client in the United States. They believe that their Management Training Program can shape peoples futures and change lives and they believe that they have the most talented and charismatic team in San Antonio. Confidence is contagious and theirs is off the charts.

Lastly, they dream.  They foresee a MASSIVE future in store for Aleuro Inc and will share it with anyone willing to listen. Overseeing 2 locations currently in San Antonio and Salt Lake City, Aleuro Inc plans to be in 10 locations by their 10th anniversary. From the east coast to west coast, no corner of the United States can escape their vision. Purpose, passion and a dream.  What more do you need to be writing this article again 5 years down the road?

Internship of a Lifetime!

IMG_1716When you look for your first internship you’re always a little nervous about choosing a company to work for especially when you know nothing besides your classroom setting. For me, the best internships are the ones where you expand your knowledge and when you are able to make a difference in the company.  And with Aleuro Inc I did both.

Before coming into this company  I was a Junior about to graduate at Texas State University with no internships and in the world of advertising that meant no future.  When I met Aleuro Inc at the career fair at Texas State University, I was unfamiliar with the organization but intrigued that they were offering a major that would be a great addition to my classes this semester.

After two interviews, I received an e-mail that I got the internship for the Public Relations/ Advertisement Internship and all of a sudden my confidence gave me the courage to try for more.  Subsequently, I landed an internship at Texas Monthly and I got into a National Student Advertising Competition.  Interning at Aleuro Inc was probably the best thing that could have ever happened to me.

Since Aleuro Inc was such a small business I had access to things my other peers at Texas State didn’t.  My friends would talk about how all they did wasAIflyer1 “grunt” work, but for me I was able to post anything I wanted to their social media feeds and change up their blog to look more professional.  Whenever I had ideas or opinions they were heard and regarded, which helped them change their website and logo to what it is today.  Working here was like felt like I owned my own ad agency and I was advertising for them.

I made flyers, brochures, videos for YouTube, and updated all of their social media sites.  Working here I felt like I made a difference, but I also learned so much in return.

“What makes this industry unique for anyone wanting an internship is that as Aleuro Inc changed, I changed right along with them.”

I’m so happy to have been given the opportunity to work with this amazing group of individuals and for anyone looking for a job no matter what you majored in or if you just finished high school I would recommend this company to anyone with an open mind ready to learn, and grow.

Never Say Never, Especially to a Navarro!

Just a single year ago, Maricela made a personal decision that it was time to for her to buckle down and be more career-driven; it was time for her to find a company for the new year that she could call home. Mere months later, she started at Aleuro Inc and 8 months following, she has earned the opportunity to expand to our latest office location in Sacramento, California this week.

When she’s not reading her favorite book “The Breadwinner” by Deborah Ellis or cooking Mole, she’s working hard with Aleuro Inc.  When we asked who inspired her she replied, ” My mother inspires me because she is the true definition of a strong, hard-working Latina.”

When we asked what she is most excited about by moving to Sacramento, California she replied, “I’m most excited about the experience itself and moving with six great individuals and doing things that haven’t been done.”
Marciela’s favorite quote is from a Proverb that states, “Success isn’t how far you got but the distance you traveled from where you started.” Aleuro Inc can see how Maricela has come such a long way and we are going to miss her hilarious stories and positive attitude every morning.  Coming from Chicago to San Antonio to Sacramento shows that she is moving towards bigger and better things and we here at Aleuro Inc wish her the best of luck in her journey!

Watch Out Sacramento, Here Comes Segura!

Looking for a new career change, Estevan decided to join Aleuro Inc during the Summer of 2014.  Like anyone in our business, he began entry level learning sales and marketing and soon grew into a leadership and office management position. Now, 8 months later, Estevan is leaving San Antonio, TX to Aleuro Inc’s newest office location in Sacramento, California.20150116_091828_HDR

When asked what part he looks forward to most, Estevan said, “I’m most excited about exploring all of California and getting paid to do so. When I visited L.A. for the first time this past November for a company event, I fell in love with the state and told myself that I have to live here at some point in my life. ”

A month later, it was confirmed that he, along with 6 top leaders in our company we’re moving to Sacramento. “There’s a tremendous amount of diversity throughout Cali, and I intend on soaking it all in while I’m there” Estevan said.

When asked who inspires him, Estevan responded, “I ADMIRE the accomplishments of my team and I ADMIRE what my parents did for me growing up.” Although he doesn’t have one individual or group that he is inspired by, “Give peace a chance” by John Lennon is the quote that stays true to his heart.

Aleuro Inc has always admired Estevan’s open-mindedness and will miss his ability to always take on projects at the last minute with a positive attitude.   We wish you all the best in California, Estevan!
